This app is so close to being everything I ever wanted for navigation. OSM, with contacts & 3rd party address search, shortest & alternate routes available, speed limit, current road as well as next turn displayed, zoom buttons. Detractions: long loading time and often crashes when switching apps. Also, sadly, while the company appears to still be active with review responses, development & map updates are extremely sparse. Last update was 15 months ago. Would love to be able to add a star or 2

When traveling abroad, I cannot use my US cell phone with Google Maps because of high data costs. As a result, I've been using Navmii because of its offline capabilities. I enjoy Stephen Fry as my guide and have paid to turn adverts off. HOWEVER, my biggest issue is the LAG in the GPS. Roundabouts and intersection turn notifications are late. So unless you make a mental jump, you'll make a mistake. TWICE this late information has made me enter bus-only areas. In Reading (UK) the fine was $100!

We are really sorry for the trouble and we appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. Navmii should only be used as an aid and we recommend always checking the areas you will be directed to drive down. Could you please contact support@navmii.com with the areas that you was instructed to drive down?

Wanted to like this app but nothing would work. It couldn't find my country (US, big landmass, hard to miss) even with location on, the state map and voice packs would not download, said I wasn't connected to the internet. which I was, I downloaded it just moments before and my other apps work fine. Disappointing, I'm trying to ditch as many Google products as possible.
